First Gradegnguyenlittleflowercatholic.orgMrs. Gia Nguyen is originally from Vietnam and came to the United States as a child with her family in 1991. She has a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and a doctoral degree in pharmacy. She worked as a pharmacist before taking time to focus on raising her family and now is excited to answer God's call to become a teacher! She and her husband have lived in St. Mary's County since 2011. They have six children with ages ranging from 14 years old to 9 months. Four of the six will also be coming to LFS as students! Mrs. Nguyen and her family are parishioners at one of our supporting parishes, St. George's Catholic Church in Valley Lee. Mrs. Nguyen is grateful for the many blessings God has bestowed on her family and wants to serve God as a teacher. She looks forward to teaching her students the academic skills they need to learn as well as guiding them to increase their faith in Christ. Her favorite quote is, "Jesus, I trust in You."
